Microplastics is a growing problem, which only can be turned around by a global massive change in production and use of plastics.

Our concept is simple – To make great changes, we need to MOTIVATE a lot of people.
MOTIVATION comes with UNDERSTANDING
UNDERSTANDING comes by SEEING WITH YOUR OWN EYES, and believing.
Scientists and researchers all around the world is working on microplastics, and the amount of academic research is growing.
Sadly, information about microplastics doesn’t seem to engage as much as the easier to understand macroplastics.
Microplastics are of course not as graphic as big plastic bags in the stomach of a whale!
Our concept is to make people see the microplastics themselves, taking real samples from the ocean, watching them in a stereo microscope, and then share their personal experience in social media.
We want to engage everything from yacht clubs and schools, to big companies and their employees, and make the FutureLab experience as available as possible. Every city should have at least one microscope, that is available for the public.
As a valuable bonus from letting all these people do their samples, we will make a catalogue of every sample, that we will make available for scientists, reporters, schools, or anybody that need this data.
